This website is being developed for my children. The language used is intended for children. The purpose of A Learning Family is to develop basic cultural, historic, geographic, and scientific literacies. Articles are not written to develop scholarly depth in a topic. Instead, they are designed to provide a foundation upon which more advanced knowledge can be built.
The content of the website is pretty much based on what my children are learning in school. It is intended to supplement what the children are learning.
